Moving your domain from another company? The steps are the same everywhere: unlock it, get the transfer code, and order the transfer with us. Here’s where to find both at the most common providers.
The same three steps everywhere
- Unlock the domain
Turn off the transfer lock (sometimes called registrar lock or domain lock) in the domain’s settings.
- Get the transfer code
Also called the EPP code or auth code. It’s usually in the same place, or emailed to the domain’s owner.
- Order the transfer with us
Where to find it
| Provider | Unlock and get the code |
|---|---|
| Bluehost | Domains › your domain › Manage › Transfer. Turn off the lock, then show the EPP code. |
| HostGator | Domains › your domain › Manage. Turn off Domain Lock, then get the EPP code under Transfer. |
| Name.com | My Domains › your domain › Details. Turn off the Transfer Lock, then click Auth Code. |
| 123-Reg | Your domain’s control panel › Manage › Unlock domain, then request the EPP code. |
| Dynadot | My Domains › Manage › your domain. Unlock it, then find the Authorization Code. |
| NetEarthOne | Your domain’s settings. Turn off Theft Protection, then view the Domain Secret (the transfer code). |
Moving from Hostinger, GoDaddy, Etisalat, AEServer, Namecheap or IONOS? We have step-by-step guides for those.
Keeping the domain where it is?
You can use our hosting or email with a domain registered elsewhere. Change its nameservers to the ones in your Tasjeel.ae hosting welcome email. See Our nameservers, and how to change yours.
