We tried to charge your card for a renewal and it didn’t go through? Your service is still fine for now. Here’s why cards get declined and how to pay so nothing stops.
Why cards get declined
- The card has expired or was replaced by your bank.
- Online or international payments are switched off on the card. Many UAE banks turn these off by default. Switch them on in your banking app.
- Not enough funds or the card’s limit was reached.
- Your bank blocked it as unusual. A quick call or a tap in your banking app usually fixes it.
Pay now so nothing stops
You don’t have to use the same card. Pay by another card, PayPal, or bank transfer.
- Open the unpaid invoice
Go to Billing › My Invoices. Unpaid invoices show at the top.
Your unpaid invoice at the top - Pay another way
Open the invoice and pick a Payment Method: Credit/Debit Card (you can enter a different card), PayPal, or Bank Transfer & Cash Deposit. Then click Pay Now.
Choose Credit/Debit Card, PayPal or Bank Transfer - Save the new card
If you paid by card, tick the option to save it, so future renewals go through by themselves.
If the invoice stays unpaid, the service is suspended and a domain expires on its renewal date. Paying now avoids any break.
Common questions
I was charged twice.
Usually it’s one payment and one temporary hold that drops off by itself. Check with your bank in a few days, and contact us with the invoice number if both stay.
Can I pay another way?
Yes. Every invoice offers card, PayPal, and bank transfer or cash deposit. For bank transfer, see Paying by bank transfer.
