My domain shows Tasjeel.ae as registrar but I have no account

1 minute readUpdated 19 Oct 2026

If a whois lookup shows Tasjeel.ae as your domain’s registrar but you’ve never had an account with us, someone registered it for you, usually a web designer, agency or IT provider.

Find who registered it

Ask whoever built your website or set up your email. They most likely have the domain in their Tasjeel.ae account. Ask them to give it to you, or to renew it.

Get it into your own account

You’re the registrant

Your name is on the domain

Email us from the registrant email address on the domain record, with your ID. We can move that domain into your own Tasjeel.ae account.

You’re not

Someone else’s name is on it

Ask that person or company to move it to you. If your company paid for it and they won’t act, contact us and we’ll explain the documents we need.

Keep it running in the meantime.

Anyone can pay to keep a domain from expiring, by bank transfer. Paying doesn’t give you access or ownership, but it stops the domain being lost while you sort it out.

What we can and can’t tell you

For privacy, we can’t tell you whose account a domain is in, or share its details beyond what a public whois lookup shows.
