Refund & Renewal Policy
This page (together with the documents referred to on it) tells you the terms of our Auto-Renewal and Refund Policy on products or services purchases on which you may make on our website https://www.tasjeel.ae (“our site”), whether as a guest or a registered user. Please read these terms of our Auto-Renewal and Refund Policy carefully before you start to use the site. By using our site, you indicate that you accept these terms of use and that you agree to abide by them. If you do not agree to these terms of use, please refrain from using our site.
1. Auto-Renewal Policy
1.1. All services provided by Host Arabia FZ-LLC (tasjeel.ae), including domain names, web hosting, email hosting, website builder, cloud hosting, and related services, are set to automatically renew by default at the end of each billing cycle.
1.2. This is to ensure uninterrupted service and to prevent accidental loss of domains, websites, emails, or associated data due to non-renewal.
1.3. By purchasing any service, the Client acknowledges and agrees that:
1.3.1. Services will automatically renew using the payment method on file or available account credit
1.3.2. Renewal invoices are generated in advance of the due date and are made available in the Client Area
1.3.3. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure that billing details and payment methods are accurate and up to date
1.4. Clients may disable auto-renewal at any time prior to the renewal date in accordance with Section 2 of this policy.
1.5. Renewal reminders may be sent prior to the due date as a courtesy. Clients remain responsible for monitoring their services and renewal dates within the Client Area.
2. Managing Auto-Renewal
2.1. Tasjeel.ae provides multiple ways for Clients to manage or disable auto-renewal prior to the renewal date.
2.2. Clients may choose any of the following options:
2.2.1. Disable auto-renewal for domain names directly from the Client Area
2.2.2. For hosting services, including web hosting, cloud hosting, email hosting, website builder services, and addons, Clients must submit a “Request Cancellation” through the Client Area to ensure the service is cancelled and does not renew
2.2.3. Reply to the renewal invoice email requesting cancellation
2.2.4. Remove saved payment method(s) from the Client Area
2.2.5. Submit a support ticket requesting cancellation prior to renewal
2.3. Tasjeel.ae provides reasonable tools and notifications to assist Clients in managing their services for ensuring that any cancellation request is made before the renewal date.
2.4. Requests submitted after a service has been automatically renewed will be subject to the applicable refund terms outlined in this policy.
3. Domain Name Refunds
3.1. Should you want to cancel your .ae or امارات. (dot Emarat) domain name within the first 3 days ( less than 72 hours) of your domain registration, Host Arabia FZ-LLC will refund your full domain registration fee minus the credit card processing fee (AED 10 per .ae or امارات.). Refunds are not available for customers after 3 days (more than 72 hours) of domain registration. You may however cancel your account at any time. You may need to contact customer service and verify information before cancellation takes place. Customers are requested to submit a ticket requesting canceling the domain name.
3.2. Other Domain registrations (excluding .ae and امارات.) and/or renewals are non-refundable by Host Arabia FZ-LLC in whole or in part.
3.3. Once a Domain has been registered by the applicable registry, Host Arabia FZ-LLC is unable to provide any refund in respect of that Domain. This is due to the bespoke nature of Domains and the Client accepts this to be a fair apportionment of risk given Host Arabia FZ-LLC’s inability to claim a refund from the relevant registry.
3.4. Any refund on a Domain prior to registration with the relevant registry is entirely at Host Arabia FZ-LLC’s discretion.
3.5. The Client accepts that Host Arabia FZ-LLC is unable to verify or check for errors in Domain registration requests. Accordingly, the Client is solely responsible for ensuring that a Domain has the correct or intended spelling.
3.6. As set out in the General Terms and Conditions and above, Domain registrations are a bespoke purchase to the Client’s specification and accordingly the Client, when a consumer, waives any right to a cooling off period that may be applicable. If the Client as a consumer is not willing to waive such right then the Client must make Host Arabia FZ-LLC aware of the same and Host Arabia FZ-LLC will be unable to register a Domain until after the applicable cooling off period has expired.
4. Web Hosting, Website Builder, Email Hosting and Related Services Refunds
4.1. You may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase for a monthly or annual web hosting plans.
4.2. If you have changed your mind about the product, we will offer a “30-day money back guarantee”. You must notify us within 30 days of opening your tasjeel.ae shared hosting account that you wish to cancel. You will then receive a full refund for the money paid to the date of termination, minus the domain registration fees which are non-refundable. This guarantee does not apply to domain name registrations, renewals, transfers or Cloud Server Products.
4.3. If the hosting services you have paid for are faulty or misdescribed you may have a legal right to end the contract or to get the service re-performed or to get some or all of your money back. You must inform us in writing of the reasons why you say that the services are either faulty or misdescribed. We will respond to any complaint within 28 days of receipt and inform you whether a refund will be administered.
4.4. After 30 days, you may request an in-store credit for any unused time remaining on your annual plan. Unused time will be prorated based on the date of purchase.
4.5. When a refund is requested for Web Hosting the web site files are the responsibility of the Host Arabia FZ-LLC customer and should a Host Arabia FZ-LLC customer decide to cancel their service it is the customer’s responsibility to make sure that they have backed up & downloaded the web site files and any emails from the Host Arabia FZ-LLC server prior to requesting that Host Arabia FZ-LLC cancels their account. Once the cancellation request has been submitted to Host Arabia FZ-LLC a cancellation of the web site hosting service may occur anytime after the request is received by Host Arabia FZ-LLC and when a cancellation request is completed the client’s hosting account with Host Arabia FZ-LLC and their web site files are permanently removed from the Host Arabia FZ-LLC servers. Therefore again it is the client’s obligation to ensure that they have downloaded their web site files and any emails from the server prior to their cancellation request..
4.6. Refunds After Auto-Renewal (Hosting Services Only)
4.6.1. If a web hosting, website builder, email hosting, or cloud hosting service has been automatically renewed, refund requests may be considered in accordance with this policy, subject to the following conditions:
4.6.2. Requests must be submitted within 3 days (72 hours) of the renewal date
4.6.3. An administrative and processing fee may be applied to any approved refund. This fee will be AED 50 or 5% of the renewal amount (whichever is lower). This fee reflects administrative handling and payment processing costs
4.6.4. Refunds will only be issued for unused service periods
4.6.5. Refunds will not be provided for:
4.6.5.1. Services that have been used, activated, or consumed
4.6.5.2. Renewal requests submitted after the 3-day period
4.6.6. This clause applies only to hosting and related services and does not affect:
4.6.6.1. The 30-day money-back guarantee for new purchases
4.6.6.2. Domain name refund terms outlined in Section 1
5. Cloud Hosting Refunds
5.1. You may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase for a monthly or annual Cloud Hosting plan.
5.2. If you have changed your mind about the product, we will offer a “30-day money back guarantee”. You must notify us within 30 days of opening your tasjeel.ae Cloud Hosting account that you wish to cancel. You will then receive a full refund for the money paid to the date of termination, minus the domain registration fees (if applicable) which are non-refundable. This guarantee does not apply to domain name registrations, renewals or transfers.
5.3. If the Cloud Hosting services you have paid for are faulty or misdescribed you may have a legal right to end the contract or to get the service re-performed or to get some or all of your money back. You must inform us in writing of the reasons why you say that the services are either faulty or misdescribed. Once the cancellation request has been submitted to Host Arabia FZ-LLC a cancellation of the web site hosting service may occur anytime after the request is received by Host Arabia FZ-LLC and when a cancellation request is completed the client’s hosting account with Host Arabia FZ-LLC and their web site files are permanently removed from the Host Arabia FZ-LLC servers. Therefore again it is the client’s obligation to ensure that they have downloaded their web site files and any emails from the server prior to their cancellation request..
6. Addon Refunds
6.1. Due to the nature of some products/services such as addons and licenses (SSL Certificates, Spam Experts, Website Protection, Google Workspace, Domain Privacy, Email Fraud Protection), no refunds are applicable unless a special approval has been issued by the billing team.
